The different levels of education in every country
There are different levels of education in every country but we are going to discuss the levels of education in Canada.
Education in Canada splits into four categories: Preschool,elementary school,secondary school and post -secondary school.
Pre-School:The preschool comprises of young children at the age of four to five.
Elementary school: The elementary school comprises of children at the age of six.
Secondary school: The secondary school also splits into two levels.That's the grade seven and grade eight. Grade seven comprises of learners at the of twelve to thirteen and the grade eight comprises of learners at the of thirtheen to fourteen
Once students complete grade eight successfully,they are promoted to high school.High schools in Canada consists of four years.Learners begin in grade nine at the age of fourteen to fifteen and complete in grade twelve at the age of seventeen to eighteen.
Post-Secondary:once students complete high school (called secondary V in Quebec)they can apply to study at college or university they wish to go.
